Currently, events are limited to those defined in the
webhooks
app. Based on our experience/taking to users in the past few months,
most
SaaS apps need to be able to connect to external apps out of the box.
You also need an easy system to monitor important metrics that will grow your product.
  • Create/rename the current webhooks app that exposes events/actions and allows admins to build basic automation.
  • Make this generic so that events can be consumed by any app/automation tools e.g. rudderstack, segment.
  • Create a channels app that includes other channels, e.g. email.
Any other suggestions welcome.
